New Year. New Resolutions! none By the LEMTRADA Team • February 13, 2018

Ideas to help set your goals for 2018

Another year has passed. And you’ve probably spent some time reflecting on your experiences and thinking about your goals for the future. Maybe you’re trying to further your career. Maybe you just want to incorporate a few more healthy habits into your lifestyle. Or maybe you’re setting some relapsing MS treatment goals.

We took some time to talk to our team about their resolutions for 2018, and they had some cool ideas—maybe even a few that you’d like to make your own! Here’s what they had to say about what they hope to accomplish this year:

“I don’t have a ton of free time, but I recently realized that when I make even just a little time for myself, I feel better. So I’m going to sign up for a painting class. I think it’ll be pretty relaxing.”
—Kim

“Family is super important to me—and I realized that I don’t make as much time for them as I should. I’m going to make more of an effort to go to our big Sunday dinners to catch up with everyone.”
—Katie

“Fast food is always the easy answer when I’m at work, but I’ve been looking for ways to save money and eat healthier, so I started making lunches at home for me and my family.”
—Damon

“One of the cool things about work is that they always encourage us to learn new things. So I’m going to explore some free online computer coding programs when I have some downtime.”
—Martin

“Sometimes I’m so focused on taking care of everyone else I forget to take care of my own needs. This year, I’m going to try to go to the gym 2-3 times a week, and if I can’t make it to the gym, I want to try exercising at home.”
—Jordan

“Every year I try to study the culture of a different country. I learn words from the language, brush up on the history, and try the food. This year, it’s France. So Happy New Year or rather Bonne Année!”
—Gina

“I often get lost in my work and the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life and forget to make time for those most important to me. This year, I will focus on taking a step back and reprioritizing.”
—Kristin

What goals would you like to set for yourself? Take a few minutes to think about where you are with your relapsing MS treatment as well as the other areas of your life where you might want to see some change.
